Music and Singing

Music and singing across our school

We have an exciting and vibrant music curriculum at Clyst Heath!

  • We have weekly singing assemblies where children have the opportunity to learn and sing songs together.
  • Each term we access an instrument collection, eg. djembe drums, ukulele, brass
  • All children across the school learn to read music and play the glockenspiel and the ukulele
  • Our choir enjoy singing alongside the choirs across Exe Estuary Federation, as well as performing at school events and in our local community.
  • Annually our choir take part in the well established 'Young Voices' event in Birmingham, singing and performing alongside many choirs across the country and with professional (and famous) singers and songwriters!
